On-page SEO services: pages Google understands and people click.

Would it be a waste of time to find out why people click on competitors instead of you?

I optimize your important pages one by one: search intent, titles and meta descriptions, headings, internal links and content structure. Implemented directly in your CMS, not left in a PDF.

Send me your site and the pages that matter most. I'll tell you what's holding them back.

The basics

What is on-page SEO?

On-page SEO (also called on-site SEO) is the optimization of the content and HTML of each page so search engines understand what it's about and searchers want to click it. It decides which keyword a page ranks for, how it looks in Google, and whether AI search tools can quote it.

Technical SEO

Can Google read the site?

Crawling, indexing, speed and structured data. See technical SEO audit.

On-page SEO

What does each page rank for?

Search intent, titles, headings, internal links and content structure, page by page.

Off-page SEO

Does the web trust it?

Backlinks, mentions and reputation on other websites.

Problem 1

Your pages rank for the wrong keywords, or for nothing

“The page is about exactly what people search for, but Google shows it for something else.”

Usually the page was never optimized for one clear search intent. The title says one thing, the headings another, and the content tries to answer everything at once. Google picks a meaning on its own, and it's rarely the one that brings customers.

What I do

  • Keyword and intent mapping per page
  • One primary query per page
  • Content matched to what searchers expect
  • Search Console query analysis
Problem 2

Two of your pages compete for the same keyword (keyword cannibalization)

“Rankings keep jumping between two of our pages, and neither one reaches page one.”

Keyword cannibalization happens when several pages on your site target the same query. Google can't tell which one is the main page, so it splits the signals and often ranks none of them well. It's common on blogs, category pages and sites that grew without a plan.

What I do

  • Find competing pages in Search Console
  • Merge and redirect duplicates
  • Re-target pages to different intents
  • Fix titles and links that confuse Google
Problem 4

Titles and meta descriptions nobody clicks

“We show up in Google, but people click the competitors.”

The title tag and meta description are your ad in the search results. Generic titles like “Home” or “Services”, missing descriptions or text cut off halfway lose clicks you already earned with your ranking.

Problem 5

Messy headings, images and URLs that tell Google nothing

“Our pages are long, but Google and ChatGPT never quote them.”

Search engines and AI tools read the structure of a page before the details. Several H1s, headings used only for styling, images named “IMG_0042.jpg” without alt text and URLs full of numbers make a page harder to understand and harder to quote in AI Overviews, ChatGPT or Perplexity.

What I do

  • Clean H1-H3 hierarchy
  • Semantic sections and FAQ blocks
  • Image alt text and file names
  • Short, readable URLs
  • Schema where it helps
On-page SEO audit

What my on-page SEO audit checks

Every engagement starts with an audit of the pages that bring, or should bring, traffic and revenue. You get a page-by-page list of what to change, ordered by impact.

  • Target keyword and search intent per page
  • Pages competing for the same queries
  • Title tags and meta descriptions
  • H1-H3 heading structure
  • Internal links, anchors and orphan pages
  • Content gaps against ranking competitors
  • Image alt text and URL structure
  • CTR and positions in Search Console
How I work

An on-page SEO consultant, not a package

Many on-page SEO packages sell a fixed number of “optimized pages” with a template applied to each. I work the other way around: I start from the pages that matter for your business, decide what each one should rank for, then make the changes myself in WordPress, WooCommerce, OpenCart, Shopify or custom sites.

The on-page SEO expert you talk to is the person who does the work. If your team prefers to implement, you get a clear, page-by-page brief instead.

How much do on-page SEO services cost?

Starting price for up to 30 pages, audit and implementation included. Larger sites are quoted after a short look at the site. See all prices.

On-page SEO FAQ

Do internal links help SEO?

Yes. Internal links show Google which pages matter most and how your content is connected, and they pass authority from strong pages to the ones you want to rank. A page with no internal links pointing to it is hard for Google to find and rarely ranks well.

How long should a meta description be?

Aim for roughly 120 to 155 characters, so it isn't cut off in search results. Google sometimes rewrites descriptions, but a clear one that matches the search intent is shown more often and gets more clicks.

How do I fix keyword cannibalization?

First find which pages compete for the same query, using Search Console data. Then decide per case: merge the pages and redirect, re-target one page to a different intent, or adjust internal links and titles so one page is clearly the main one.

What's the difference between on-page and off-page SEO?

On-page SEO is everything on your own pages: content structure, titles, headings, internal links and search intent. Off-page SEO is what happens elsewhere, mainly backlinks and mentions. On-page is the part you fully control, so it's usually the fastest place to start.

How long until on-page SEO shows results?

Changes to titles, meta descriptions and internal links are often visible in Search Console within a few weeks, once Google recrawls the pages. Bigger changes like merging cannibalized pages can take one to three months to settle.

Do you write new content too?

My focus is optimizing the pages you already have: structure, titles, headings, links and intent. When a page needs new sections or new pages are missing, I brief them or write them, scoped separately.

Is it a bad idea to optimize pages before a technical audit?

Not if the site is already indexed correctly. If Google can't access or index the pages, on-page work won't show. That's why I always check the technical basics first.
