The problem
The company depended 100% on affiliate partners for leads, and those partners were expensive. The product had no organic presence of its own, even for searches where people were ready to choose a tool.
What I did
I built an in-house lead generation engine on the company's own website, using the authority the domain already had.
Chose bottom-of-funnel searches
The plan targeted searches made right before a purchase: "best" lists, fix guides for specific errors and comparisons between tools.
Used the existing domain authority
Instead of starting a new site, the articles were published on the company's domain, which already had trust with Google.
Wrote 25 focused articles
Each article answered one search intent, with a clear structure and a direct path to the product.
The result
The site went from 0 to 30 organic leads in about 40 days, with just 25 articles. It now ranks #1 to #2 for broad industry queries, appears in Google's AI Overview for its main search and brings direct organic sales.
- All leads from paid affiliates
- No organic rankings
- Not mentioned in AI answers
- 30 organic leads in about 40 days
- #1 to #2 for broad industry queries
- Cited in Google AI Overviews
What made the difference
Intent over volume
25 articles for buyers did more than hundreds written for traffic.
Own the channel
Leads from your own pages cost nothing per click once they rank.
Clear answers get quoted
The same articles that rank also get cited in Google AI Overviews.
